Making Aussies care about census data.

Problem: The Census is Australia’s way to depict the state of the nation. This information is used by Government and institutions to make informed decisions regarding infustructure. The issue is the majority of the population have no understand or appreciation for how the data is used and therefore less likely to fill out the census or engage

Solution: Making census data meaningful and useful to the Australian public through a mobile application

Execution: Gamifying census data that puts the general public in control of the decision making decisions that government and councils face based on census date through an application called Run That Town.

Results: 60,000 downloads in the first month with little media support

Awards:  FWA: Mobile ap of the day. IAB: Gold - Creative showcase winner. Tomorrow Awards/ Art Directors Club: Gold. Contagious Magazine: Showcase. Cannes Lion: Gold - Mobile.
